For the Dn8 launch, we teamed up with seven, dynamic creatives and one key athlete to ignite Johannesburg through the lens of music. Together, we brought the city to life with powerful storytelling, immersive experience and the creation of new sounds shaping new-core memories for the Alchemist 2.0

We began our journey in collaboration with Iqhawe Magazine  a media publication committed to highlighting youth culture in South Africa through authentic storytelling. Together, we launched an editorial campaign that spotlighted key cultural protagonists who use music as a platform for experimentation and innovation. The campaign featured eight talented individuals, including Caster Semenya, who teamed up with DBN Gogo to produce a new track for the launch of DN8

Spotify Powered by JHB

We partnered with DBN Gogo and Caster Semenya to co-create a track for the launch of the DN8, with the aim of elevating both the music and its narrative.

In collaboration with Spotify, a short film was produced to bring the track to life through storytelling highlighting the creative process and the power of musical experimentation. The film was further amplified by Spotify Music Africa and featured contributions from key talent.

Partner Marketing Sportscene

Retail Partner hosted a Dn8 experience, highlighting the Alchemist 2.0 through music with 200 invited guest throughout the evening, capturing the invitees in a immersive experience with key experiments through movement and sound.

We brought the Johannesburg community together for a powerful final celebration—a takeover block party in the heart of Braamfontein. For one unforgettable night, we activated iconic spaces, turning the city into a living memory for our consumers. From March 18, we launched the Big 8, energising Joburg with a wave of digital content and storytelling.

We spotlighted the sounds of 8 unique creatives through an immersive 3D audio journey, across 3 venues, featuring 26 artists and over 1k guests—creating a night that truly resonated with the soul of the city.
